i hate it when a guy says ‘youre hot’ it angers me so much i know it’s supposed to be classed as a ‘compliment’ but i just think it’s degrading as if it’s relating to the thought that the girl is dressing up for the guy or trying to look nice for them no theyre doing it for themself do not try to objectify them and convince yourself that every action they do is performed after the thoughtful consideration of how it will benefit you no stop

and then you’re supposed to say ‘thank you’ or something? like i dont class it as an insult like obviously they are telling you that you’re pleasing to the eye but the statement in my opinion is obviously not passing through their mind it’s just something they’re saying ‘beautiful’ is so much nicer and thoughtful even ‘pretty’ sounds more sincere/genuine
